Membership in the WMAC-AAPA is a way to grow your AP knowledge and network with peers in your desired profession. Annual membership cost $40.00 however, he Introductory Membership rate is $30.00.

Meetings and Seminars
The WMAC-AAPA holds meetings quarterly (generally on Thursday) and presents a speaker on subjects impacting the AP profession. Such topics may include: Internal Controls for AP, Form 1099 Misc, Form W-9, AP Year End, Managing AP Vendor Master Files, When AP and Payroll Should Talk and Risk of Outsourcing AP. Our sister association, Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter of the American Payroll Association (WMAC-APA) also sponsors an annual Tri-State Conference (generally held in September) open to our members at the member rate.
Networking
Membership in the WMAC-AAPA and attendance to chapter meetings is a great way to meet other AP professionals in the area, discuss common concerns, and share information and past experiences.

Our chapter publishes a newsletter every quarter that contains important information on legislative updates, as well as articles and other information of interest to local members.
